This New Zealand made oversized chopping board / platter is made from a solid piece of Elm with hand forged steel edges. It is the perfect size for entertaining and displaying a large cheese platter on. These certainly make a statement!

Our chopping boards are made to use and age naturally with everyday use. However, if you wish to preserve the original appearance of the board, clean the surface by wiping down with a damp cloth and mild detergent (do not fully immerse). If using your chopping board for meat, you will need to clean it thoroughly with warm soapy water (please note that over time this may cause the finish on the edges of the board to deteriorate).

Being solid timber which is a natural material please note that these may split in dry alpine climates. You can help avoid splitting by washing it down with a wet cloth once a day & oiling every few days on both sides.
